He Needed a Name
Since her new baby’s birth mother had given him up at only four days old, he did not have a name. Katie had simply been calling him Baby Boy, but this had to change. Katie did not have to consider a name for long; she already had a preferred name in mind. After some consideration, Katie named her new baby Grayson.
Love at First Sight
Katie was immediately smitten with her new baby. She knew that she would have to raise Grayson as her own child, rather than a foster child. She had taken care of other children, often children that had been abused or mistreated. Sadly, Katie never got much chance to bond with these children before they were moved to a new home. Grayson would be different; she was determined of that.
