Dr. Phil
Hate him or love him, Dr. Phil has made a career out of counseling troubled people on national television. After engaging in an inappropriate relationship with one of his patients in the 80’s, Dr. Phil lost his license. After he got it back, eventually it expired. That means he is not actually licensed anymore, and none of his patients on the show are actually real patients.

While most viewers of The Voice enjoy the many underdog stories, the fact remains that much of the show is quite fabricated. The “blind” auditions have been planned out and former contestants shared that the show is actually precast.
