A Phenomenon
People who watched Evan’s YouTube account were utterly shocked by what they were seeing. For those people who had no idea what was going on, it looked like the earth had just opened up, and the whole world was going to get sucked in. It was definitely scary when the phenomenon first happened, and Evan was one of the first to report about it. It seemed like a rare phenomenon; however, it kind of was! It rarely happened!

To be fair, these spillways are quite unique. In most cases, engineers prefer to put the spillway right in the wall of dams. To create a spillway like this one, there are only a few in the world. Not to mention, these structures often remain hidden under the water level for long periods of time, and many people don’t know about their presence until they’re finally in action. Spillways like this have popped up all over the world and caused chaos!
