In the early days of filming, Emma Watson was quite shy, and so she was a little too embarrassed to hug her male co-stars, so we don’t see her hugging the boys during the final Great Hall scene. We only see her at the end of the movie hugging Harry before looking very embarrassed and then subsequently shaking Ron’s hand.
