Sorcerer Vs. Philosopher
Let’s settle it once and for all: is it the Sorcerer’s Stone or the Philosopher’s Stone? Well, when Scholastic bought the rights for the book to release to the American market, they requested that the title be changed from Philosopher’s Stone to Sorcerer’s Stone. In fact, the film actually has two versions, one British with the characters saying philosopher’s stone, and the other American with re-shot scenes with the actors saying sorcerer’s stone.
Actual Reaction To The Great Hall
You can see the sense of awe and wonder when the actors step into the Great Hall for the first time, which was because it was actually the first time the actors saw it as well, so it was a genuine reaction. They had never seen the set before filming that scene, and the effect was great.
