Sahara (2005)

It can be argued that film adaptations almost never due original source material justice, and Sahara would help that argument. Even though it starred Penelope Cruz and Matthew McConaughey, it ended up losing $100 million. The orignal book’s author Clive Cussler ended up sueing the studio for breaching their contract because the film was so poorly executed.
